Using a Jetter can save you potentially Tens of thousands of dollars!!!
What is a Jetter?
Hydro-jetting is a process that uses high speed / high pressure water to clear blockages in pipe systems and is typically the first approach to cleaning blocked lines. Barring the possibility of a collapsed line, hydro-jetting will solve the problem and with regular routine maintenance will keep your lines free and functioning properly. Maintenance of this sort will go a long way toward minimizing eventual blockages that could result in a line breakage requiring more drastic expense.

Our video inspections allow us to inspect the internal workings of a pipe line to find and assess any existing problems. When a problem is discovered the hydro-jetting equipment is used to resolve the problem.

Over time, accumulations build up on the inside of pipes much in the same way that years of poor diet will cause buildup in arteries. Grease, sand, sludge, silt and any number of sediments are the culprits in most cases.

A Hydro-Jetter has a heavy-duty power nozzle attached to high-pressure. Operating at approximately 4000 psi, the hydro-jetting process will destroy even the most stubborn line blockages and efficiently scour the entire pipe. This process should be on a regular maintenance program for businesses such as restaurants who are subject to grease and oil by-product accumulations;as well as for residential homes whose main culprit tends to be roots. Roots will crack your pipes requiring a replacement.

Video camera inspections pinpoint problems:
  • Broken, cracked or collapsed pipe - damaged pipes requiring repair or replacement.
  • Offset pipe - sewer pipes have become misaligned due to shifting soil, frozen ground, settling, etc.
  • Blockage - grease buildup or a foreign object is restricting or prohibiting proper flow and/or cleaning of the line.
  • Corrosion - the pipe has deteriorated and/or broken, causing collapses in the line and restricting flow.
  • Bellied pipe - a section of the pipe has sunk due to ground or soil conditions, creating a valley that collects paper and waste.
  • Leaking joints - the seals between pipes have broken, allowing water to escape into the area surrounding the pipe.
  • Root infiltration - tree or shrub roots have invaded the sewer line, preventing normal cleaning and/or have damaged the line.
  • Off-grade pipe existing pipes are constructed of substandard material that may have deteriorated or corroded.

Our Video camera can visually inspect the inside of your drain, along with the built-in transmitter in the head of the camera, helping to trace and locate any problem areas. We have cameras that can go in openings from 3-inch to 6-inch lines. The built-in transmitter can then save you hundreds of dollars in excavating by knowing exactly where the lines are buried.
  • A video camera allows for a visual inspection of underground sewer lines and other piping to determine the condition inside the pipe. A flexible rod with a specially designed, high-resolution video camera on its tip is inserted into the pipe for inspection. As the rod is pushed through the pipe, the waterproof camera records its progress and findings. Video images are transmitted to the camera operator and can be saved onto a videotape for a permanent record.
  • Video cameras may be used to identify damage and obstructions that inhibit proper flow or create occasional or repeated backups. The cameras also verify that obstructions have been removed and that the lines are clean following service. The condition of a line typically cannot be determined without a visual inspection using an in-line camera.
High pressure hydro-jetting has become a useful, effective, and valuable tool on maintenance and construction projects of all sizes around the world due to government regulation and stricter environmental laws.
